How to Track Specific Website pages with GA4 and Google Tag Manager.

1 ) GA4- Set Up Conversion specific Website Page Tracking

Hello first of all we need a website and you can create a website using Wordpress or maybe You have already had a developer. Just you need a website to track pages with GA4

I have already had a website which called www.dataonmarketing.com and I choose Contact Pages.

You need a Google Analytics Account and ıntegrate it with your website so You should add tracking code .Learn More GoogleAnalytics

You are going to see side bar and configure section, Please click there.

And you see a lot of conversion tip in your demo account. Of course I don't set up none of them it's ready data because demo account introduces GA4.

Okey and you are going to see "create event" at the right side

Please click there.

at the this point I need to switch GA4 account because I aware Demo Account is limited.

Now I continue, All steps, All logic is same , there is no difference.

Click the "create event"

and this view is open

You should determine custom name it might be trackpage and don't foget you cannot custom like track page there mustn't be space.

this is final view. and in 24 hour you are going to see in Configure section.

2 ) Google Tag Manager - Set Up Conversion specific Website Page Tracking in GA4

Hello, Next step is setting up Conversion Tracking specific website page in GA4 using Tag Manager and You should have already had a GTM account and ıntegrate it with GA4. Learn More GTM

And as you can see there is a side bar and consist of 6 section including Tags,Variables etc.

Please click the Tags section and you are going to see tags you have , please create a new.

Click again Tag configuration and this view opened for you

As you can see I give name GA4-About Page View, That's why I can understand it's related to GA4

Okey Next step is please click the GA4 Events

I use the same name for Event Name and also Configuratşon tag is GA4 ID I had created before additionally I have 2-3 options

Okey everything is fine untill this part and next step is trigger

Click the trigger

and at this section We are going to learn something new. it's about add trigger.

These trigger aren't about goal that's why we need new trigger.

Please clikc the plus "+" at the right side. and you are going to see different trigger options

I fullfil the space but I would like to point to "I choose Some Page View" because I want to track specific page in website, You can prefer to track all pages rather than specific pages

and click the save

this is the final result :)

But please don't forget after any set up or changes don't forget submit.
